• High-density PE material: rectangular awning is made of 100% 185 gsm high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and not made of recycled material. The new PE material has improved durability and higher strength to withstand prolonged sun exposure, minimizing the risk of fading, embrittlement or decomposition over time, resulting in longer life and lower maintenance costs.
• Breathable fabric and not waterproof: the breathable fabric allows cool breezes through and creates a comfortable and well-ventilated space. It is not waterproof and allows rainwater to pass through, so no water can accumulate. Excessive water accumulation on a shade sail can strain the fabric and load-bearing structure and lead to damage or failure. It is recommended to remove the awning during storms and typhoons.
• Blocks harmful UV rays: 90% shade level and protects against up to 95% harmful UV rays. The D rings on the 4 corners are made of 304 stainless steel and thicker than traditional D rings.
• Package and installation: contains a 3 x 2.5 m sand rectangular sun sail and 4 durable ropes (2 m / 6.56 ft). Measure and clean the area where the awning is to be installed. Leave a distance of 45-60 cm between the anchor point and the awning for mounting hardware, ropes or hooks.
