• Matte over thread - Wide smart home compatibility: This Matter certified presence detector is compatible with Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings and Home Assistant. No meross hub or 2.4GHz WiFi is required. When paired with a compatible Matter controller and Thread Border Router, you can benefit from fast local connection and reliable automation. Setup is conveniently done via Bluetooth via the meross app, which can also be used to install firmware updates. For optimal Alexa compatibility, we recommend installing the latest firmware before the first Alexa integration.
• 3-zone scene control for intelligent automation: With the meross app, you can divide the detection area into three independent zones and create individual automation rules for each zone. For example, main lighting and desk lamp can be controlled separately in the study, or in the bathroom night light, ceiling lighting and mirror lighting can be triggered specifically. Each zone can be used as a standalone presence detector on compatible platforms, enabling even more precise smart home automation. The motion sensor detects movement up to 6 meters away and presence within 4 meters with high accuracy.
• Local automation and data protection: thanks to Matter over thread, automations are executed locally and work reliably even when no Internet connection is available. Compared to cloud-based solutions, you benefit from faster response times and higher reliability. This motion sensor does not store images, audio recordings or location data. • Flexible installation and up to 3 years battery life: the presence sensor has a bracket with 90° tilt angle and 360° rotation function for flexible mounting on ceilings, walls or in room corners. The included CR123A lithium battery allows wireless installation and offers a runtime of up to 3 years. With protection class IP67 and an operating temperature range from -20°C to +60°C, this motion sensor is ideal for bathrooms, basements, attics, garages, hallways and many other indoor and protected outdoor areas.
