• CRITICAL APP LIMITATIONS: When used with BimmerCode, it ONLY supports 2008+ E, F, I, and R series models (Pre-2008 models, G-series, and U-series are NOT supported). For BimmerLink, it is NOT compatible with any pre-2008 models. Please check the compatibility before buying.
• GENERIC OBD-II FUNCTIONS – Find out why the check engine light is on: read & clear trouble codes, view freeze frame data, I/M readiness, and live sensor data to help monitor vehicle health and diagnose check engine problems.
• VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY: Compatible with most 2001+ petrol and 2004+ diesel passenger vehicles in UK & EU. PLEASE NOTE: Some vehicles built during the transition years (2000-2002 for petrol / 2003-2005 for diesel) are NOT fully OBD-II compliant, even if they have the 16-pin port. If your vehicle falls into these borderline years, it may cause ECU connection issues. For EVs, check in Car Scanner App or contact Veepeak to confirm compatibility before purchase. Not all EVs are supported.
• APP COMPATIBILITY: Works with Car Scanner (recommended for generic OBD-II usage), Torque (Android only), OBD JScan, Dr. Prius, and VAG DPF. Compatible with BimmerCode/BimmerLink (subject to limits in the first feature). NOT compatible with Carly, OBDeleven, MHD, xHP, ProTool, or bootmod3, etc. Note: Apps are from third-parties and may require separate purchases.
• BLUETOOTH CONNECTION: Supports Bluetooth LE for iOS & Android (not WiFi): please connect from within the app after setting the connection type to Bluetooth LE. Do not pair in the phone’s Bluetooth menu (especially for iOS devices). Also supports classic Bluetooth for some Android Apps. Android head units may not be supported.
• NOTE: Advanced diagnostics (ABS, SRS, etc.) and data (like DPF) are only available for some makes/models via specific apps. MS-CAN, and advanced functions like oil light or service interval reset, and DPF regeneration are usually NOT supported. Please refer to User Instructions, or contact Veepeak to check availability.
